Chen Suwei, Sales Manager at Kinghelm
At 30, one is expected to stand firm in three key areas: personal development, career, and family. Self-reliance is fundamental to establishing oneself. Whether dealing with personal matters, national issues, or global affairs, being self-reliant and self-sufficient is the key to survival. Each person's story of self-reliance is unique, and today, we explore the journey of Chen Suwei from the Kinghelm Sales Team B.
Born in 1994 in Shicheng, Jiangxi—a place known for its rugged terrain and the reputation of "Three Lands, Five Towns"—Chen Suwei grew up with the resolve to rely solely on himself. He left Shicheng to seek opportunities in Shanghai and later moved south to Shenzhen. His experiences of traversing various cities have greatly contributed to his maturity. Currently, he has been with Kinghelm Electronics Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen for three years.
In March 2021, Chen Suwei joined Kinghelm as a junior sales representative. At that time, he was starting from scratch with no experience in the industry, and the challenges were daunting. He recalls, “I majored in Physical Education at university and initially worked as a basketball coach at an educational institution in Shanghai. After a couple of years with little career progress and balancing both life and dreams, I decided to try my luck in Shenzhen, the city known for its financial opportunities.”

Kinghelm was Chen Suwei's first stop in Shenzhen and the launchpad for his sales career. He focused on selling Kinghelm’s RF and microwave signal transmission products, including connectors and terminals. Through persistent effort and skill-building, Chen Suwei achieved impressive results—by 2023, he became the top sales performer at Kinghelm, and his apprentice Li Bo was recognized as an outstanding newcomer. In 2024, he achieved a single-day collection of over 80,000 RMB.
When discussing his success, Chen Suwei attributes it to a client-centered approach and practical sales strategies, which include "responding to client needs, solving client problems, understanding and speaking the client's language, and providing personalized, value-added service." He emphasizes that while sales might have a low entry threshold, it requires a broad range of knowledge. He advises focusing on priorities, maintaining emotional stability, and addressing key client requirements such as design, price, and delivery.

In 2023, Chen Suwei was promoted to Team C Leader, and his team is now preparing for new challenges. He shares his approach to handling pressure and challenges: “Our Vice President, Cheng Yujie, often says that team growth comes from internal drive and self-reliance, not just reasoning. I rely on self-learning and psychological adjustment to manage pressure, viewing challenges as opportunities. This ‘resilience’ is key to overcoming difficulties and growing from them.”
Chen Suwei’s resilience is evident in his cheerful and adaptable personality, stable emotions, and results-oriented work ethic. He manages relationships with leaders, colleagues, and clients with a friendly and resilient attitude. He recognizes his strengths, hones his communication and problem-solving skills, and efficiently addresses issues while maintaining positive interactions. He embraces and adapts to change, viewing each challenge as a growth opportunity.
Resilience, indifference to setbacks, and happiness—these three attributes work together harmoniously. For Chen Suwei, his resilience and happiness are closely linked. He is now settled in Shenzhen with his family and finds his efforts worthwhile. “Spending the New Year with family and enjoying reunions are the happiest moments,” he says. His interests have expanded from sports to parenting. He humorously notes, “Having a family is great, though it does reduce my time for exercise.” Regarding his child’s development, he emphasizes, “I’m not focused on achievements or KPIs right now; the goal is for happy growth, and we’ll see how things go in the future.”
Chen Suwei From Kinghelm
In conclusion, at 30, Chen Suwei’s inspirational message is: “After three years of growth and promotion, I am grateful for the company’s support, especially to Kinghelm and SLKOR’s General Manager Song Shiqiang and Kinghelm’s Vice President Cheng Yujie. I will continue to leverage my strengths, address my shortcomings, and move forward.”
