The year 2025 marks my third Spring Festival spent in Shenzhen with my parents, but this time, I opted for a different holiday experience—a trip to Liuzhou, Guangxi. This trip not only allowed me to experience the unique charm of the New Year in Liuzhou but also gave me new insights into my procurement work.

We headed to the Five-Star Food Street, where the streets were decorated with festive lanterns, and the joyful atmosphere of the New Year was everywhere. After indulging in a delicious meal, we quickly made our way to the Liujiang Bridge to watch the fireworks. As the colorful explosions lit up the sky, reflecting on the river along with the dazzling lights on both banks, I felt as though I was inside a living landscape painting. This tranquil and beautiful scene was a stark contrast to the factory floors I frequently visit, where machines roar and production lines operate ceaselessly.

To truly understand a city, the best way is to visit its museums. So, I made a reservation at the Liuzhou Industrial Museum, where I was immediately greeted by several large green passenger train cars. Inside the museum, I witnessed Liuzhou’s transformation from a traditional industrial hub to a modern manufacturing powerhouse. The exhibits, including old machine tools and textile machinery, reminded me of the electronic components I deal with daily. From simple connectors, resistors, and capacitors to sophisticated integrated circuits, every small component plays a crucial role in advancing China’s modernization.

This trip wasn’t just about sightseeing—I was also invited by local friends to visit Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County for the grand Lusheng Festival. Watching the Dong people passionately play their traditional musical instruments, I had an epiphany: Procurement work is much like Lusheng performance. Just as different bamboo pipes must harmonize to create a beautiful melody, my role as a procurement officer at Kinghelm Electronics (www.kinghelm.net) requires coordinating suppliers, production, and sales to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.

Strolling through the streets of Liuzhou, I encountered unique urban landscapes. Despite the Spring Festival holidays, some industrial zones were still bustling with activity, with workers remaining at their posts. This reminded me of the countless late nights I spent coordinating with suppliers to meet urgent company orders. It is precisely this spirit of dedication and perseverance that drives China’s manufacturing industry forward.

What impressed me most was Liuzhou’s urban planning. As I navigated the city’s streets and explored its layout on my phone, I admired how Liuzhou balances industrial development with ecological preservation. The Liujiang River is lined with lush greenery, and numerous urban parks are scattered throughout the city. This naturally made me think of the balance required in procurement—we must control costs while ensuring quality, maintain relationships with existing suppliers while exploring new ones. Finding equilibrium and achieving win-win outcomes is the essence of procurement.

Liuzhou seamlessly blends industrial strength with cultural richness, complementing each other perfectly. This journey not only gave me a deeper appreciation of Liuzhou’s customs and cuisine but also reinforced my understanding of procurement as an art—one that requires wisdom, patience, and foresight. As procurement professionals, we must balance meticulous cost calculations with strategic decision-making, focus on immediate needs while planning for long-term growth.

Moving forward, I will integrate these insights into my daily work. When selecting suppliers, I will place greater emphasis on balancing quality and service, and when managing costs, I will carefully weigh short-term gains against long-term sustainability. Through continuous learning and practice, I believe I can excel in the procurement field and create greater value for Kinghelm Electronics.

Since 2024, Kinghelm and SlkorMicro have gradually shifted their overseas market expansion and brand promotion strategy toward Google advertising. In the process, the Kinghelm and SlkorMicro team demonstrated sharp market insight and exceptional execution capabilities. Through a series of precise marketing strategies and efficient promotional techniques, they have made significant breakthroughs in enhancing brand awareness and market influence. They fully leveraged the powerful capabilities of the Google search engine, optimizing the official website content, increasing keyword density, and improving the website authority. This led to Kinghelm’s Google index reaching 55,000 entries, with Ahrefs DR (Domain Rating) peaking at 71, and over 1,800 natural search keywords, some of which saw continuous improvement in their ranking.
